Course Description:

The Certified Solar PV Electrical Drawing Design Course provides participants with comprehensive technical knowledge and practical skills to create professional, industry-standard Solar PV electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD. This hands-on course covers Solar PV design principles, engineering workflows, site layouts, mounting structure drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), DC and AC interconnections, earthing layouts, cable schedules, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Participants will gain the expertise to develop complete, code-compliant, plot-ready Solar PV design packages for residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.

Course Objectives:

Understand Solar PV system design principles and engineering drawing standards.
Learn the complete Solar PV engineering design workflow from concept to final documentation.
Develop practical AutoCAD skills for creating professional Solar PV mechanical and electrical drawings.
Design accurate site layouts, mounting structures, and Solar PV array configurations.
Create Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), DC and AC interconnection drawings, and protection layouts.
Produce plot-ready engineering drawings, cable schedules, and Bills of Materials (BOM) following industry best practices.

He specialized in electrical designs & installation, Solar energy system designs & installation, electronics/inverter troubleshooting & repairs, operations & system maintenance in the renewable energy sector.

With over five (5) years of experience as a Design & Electro-mechanical engineer, he has a proven track record of delivering high-performance technical solutions for residential, utility-scale, & commercial projects.

Proficient in industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Opensolar, Sketchup, Revit, and Inventor.

He excel in precise system modeling, and shadow analysis.

His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and optimization to execution, ensuring maximum energy yield and cost-efficient design.
